QFX5700
The Juniper QFX5700 and QFX5700E Switches are next‑generation, modular and fabric‑less spine‑and‑leaf switches that offer flexibility, cost efficiency with lower‑per‑bit, high‑density 400GbE, 100GbE, 50GbE, 40GbE, 25GbE, 10GbE, and 1GbE interfaces for server and intra‑fabric connectivity. A versatile, future‑proven solution for today’s data centers, the QFX5700 and QFX5700E switches support and deliver a diverse set of use cases. The line supports advanced Layer 2, Layer 3, and Ethernet VPN (EVPN)—Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN) features. For large public cloud providers—early adopters of servers to meet explosive workload growth‑the QFX5700 and QFX5700E switches support very large, dense, and fast 400GbE IP fabrics based on proven internet scale technology. For enterprise data center customers seeking investment protection as they transition their server farms from 1GbE to 10GbE to 25GbE, the switches also provide a high radix‑native 100GbE/400GbE EVPN‑VXLAN spine option at reduced power and a smaller footprint.
QFX5241-64OD
Continuous evolution of AI/ML technology along with new applications are driving the next major shift in bandwidth requirement within the data center fabric. Juniper QFX5240 line of Switches is a next-generation, fixed-configuration platform designed for spine, leaf, and border switch roles. The switch provides flexible, cost-effective, high‑density 800GbE, 400GbE, 100GbE, and 50GbE interfaces for intra-IP fabric connectivity as well as higher density 200/400GbE NIC connectivity for AI/ML use cases. It’s 51.2 Tbps unidirectional throughput meets the bandwidth requirement of AI/ML workloads and storage systems with latency starting at 750 ns (Cut-through) and 950 ns (Store and Forward). Remote direct memory access (RDMA) is the de-facto data transfer technology used in AI/ML workloads, and it uses remote direct memory access over Converged Ethernet v2 (ROCEv2) for transport at the network layer. The QFX5240 line of switches supports ROCEv2 along with congestion management features like Priority Flow Control (PFC), explicit congestion notification (ECN), and data center quantized congestion notification (DCQCN). The QFX5240 line of switches helps reduce the number of network nodes deployed—decreasing the total power consumption of the data center fabric and improving the carbon footprint of the data center. These improvements are possible by having different breakout options like 128x400GbE, 256x200GbE, and 320x100GbE.

QFX5230-64CD
Juniper QFX5230-64CD Switch is a high-radix class switch, dedicated for high-bandwidth network switching devices supporting up to 64 x 400GbE, 128 x 200GbE, 256 x 100GbE, 64 x 40GbE, 256 x 25GbE, 256 x 10GbE ports in 2U form factor. This makes the QFX5230-64CD optimal for AI data center deployments and spine and super-spine roles within IP and Ethernet VPN–Virtual Extensible LAN (EVPN-VXLAN) fabrics. The additional Remote Direct Memory Access over Converged Ethernet (RoCEv2) capabilities of the QFX5230-64CD support IP storage deployments where instead of relying on deep buffer switching, the QoS mechanisms such as priority-based flow control-distributed services code point (PFC-DSCP) and explicit congestion notification (ECN) deliver high performance for the storage workloads. Support for ZR/ZR-M optics makes it suitable for edge and data center interconnect (DCI) use cases.
